Join us on our whisky journey at The Spirit of Manchester Distillery.
OUR STORY
In 2022, we started making One Point Six English Whisky. We select the finest grains from English maltsters, craft a unique mash bill, and finesse at each stage, from mashing and fermenting to distilling and blending. We are making something special here.
THE INSPIRATION
In this tour and tasting we’ll explore barley selection, mashing, fermentation, the wash and spirits runs, and the aging process. We’ll also share the origins of One Point Six Whisky and our inspiration for the brand. From there, we’ll go into a spirits tasting, allowing you to experience the product at different stages of production.
Each year this tour will evolve as we further our English Whisky heritage, and explore our path as whisky makers.
THE TOUR
Our Whisky Tours are on the second Saturday of every month.
Your tour will include:
- A tour of the distillery, demonstrating each area of production of English whisky
- An arrival drink made with our signature New Make
- A guided tasting of five samples, including: wash, simple whisky new make, One Point Six Whisky new make and samples of other The Spirit of Manchester Distillery products
- 10% off bar / shop / restaurant
